Heartfelt, reflective and full of fervour, these imaginative Lockdown Miniatures No. 8 by Acclaimed Australian clarinetist and composer Paul Dean are inspired by the news and events of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Dean’s evocative miniatures journal his daily reflections, shining a light on the roller-coaster of emotions induced by isolation, devastation and the somewhat humorous happenings of lockdown.
This album features 7 miniatures from an extraordinary body of work, comprising of 70 miniatures that were composed in 70 days for friends and family.
