This uplifting program explores music of composers that sought musical fodder from the past as a constant source of newness for the present.

Drawing on the great minds of Mozart, Thelonios Monk, Shakespeare and Brahms the daring works of Arvo Pärt, Joe Twist, Thomas Adès and Ralph Vaughan-Williams come together for an evening of music making filled with melodic beauty, magical storytelling and bold reinvention.
